Panama Adventure Tours - Sea kayaking adventures.
Sea kayaking is another of our activities which is very popular with our guests. We carry (12) wide, stable (2 adults + 1 child) "sit on" kayaks aboard. These kayaks are designed for safe "fun kayaking" in a variety of different environments and can readily serve as platforms for light tackle fishing, snorkeling and freediving. They are not "serious" long range Kayaks designed for "serious" long range "expedition kayaking".
We deploy the kayaks at every possible opportunity and provide a very wide variety of sea kayaking adventures for our guests in a diverse array of interesting and exciting environments. Like all the activities which we offer on our tours, sea kayaking is intended to provide "fun" - exciting but lighthearted enjoyment. We try to leave "grim determination" out of the picture. There are plenty of other places and opportunities which stress (pun intended) this aspect of ones resources.
Offshore, imagine kayaking amongst a pod of whales or dolphins - in the middle of the deep blue ocean - or - kayaling close to the sheer cliffs of rocky islands as powerful Pacific swells crash thunderously against them. Imagine silently kayaking scant feet above huge marlin, tunas and sharks - gliding below you in crystal clear seas - as nearby silvery swarms of small bait fish hurl themselves skywards in flight.
Inshore, countless small islands, deserted coves with white sandy beaches and twisting creeks meandering through the lush mangroves provide, somewhat more serene, but nonetheless exciting kayaking areas. It would take months of extensive daily kayaking to see the wide variety of wonders available in our cruising area. And, regardless, each and every kayaking adventure would continue to provide new and exciting surprises.
