At 3.oo pm we will set off on a leisurely cruise through the archipelago (naturally trailing a few fishing lines) during which afternoon tea will be served. A couple of crew members will remain at rhe campsite setting up the overnight tents. Tea will have probably have morphed to cocktails by the time we get back to the camp - in time for a sunset stroll on the beach -- while the crew get to work on dinner
Dinner
Dinner will be served aboard Grand Illusion -far from the reach of any pesky insects which might happen to be about - and usually with a nice cool breeze coming across the sea from the mountains. After dinner, we will perhaps gather around a bonfire on the beach - before retiring to our spacious comfortable (totally insect proof tents) - for what, we suspect, will be a very restful nights sleep.
Early morning wake up call
At 6.30 those who haven't allready been awoken by the melodic calls of the birds in the neughborhood will be awoken (a tad less gently) by one of our crew members. The crew will have breakfast waiting when you board Grand Illusion and by 7.00 a.m. we should have the camping gear aboard and be on our way to Isla Ladrones.

Chiriqui National Park to Islas Ladrones leg
having picked our way through the myriad of islets in the park, we will keep heading straight out to sea and pick up our speed to around 15 knots for the 1 1/2 hour trip to Ialas Ladrones. You will enjoy wonderfull panoramoc views of Panama from coast to mountain peak - as it rapidly dissappears astern. Grand Illusion will speed effortlessly along - hardly disturbing the glassy calm sea - which is the norm at this hour of the morning.
On this leg we will, as usual, be trolling a spread of high speed lures to attract ocean sprinters such as king fish, dorado, wahoo and even the occasional sailfish. Our chances for action will continue to increase as we get deeper and deeper into the habitat of these ocean wonderers. Any of the above will definitely provide some energetic morning calisthenics for a few of our guests and several may contribute to the lunch menu.
