Panama Adventure Tours - Snorkeling and free diving
First off, our tours are a far cry from the common, garden variety "snorkeling / booze crooze" - wherein, vast hordes of "Really happy holiday makers" are dumped off on the same tired patch of reef - day after day - month after month - year after year. We also have "no pet moray eels" nor cute "underwater trail" signs - as we will be snorkeling / free diving on many many different locations and will always be on the lookout for new ones.
Seeing as the Gulf of Chiriqui boasts the second most extensive coral reef system in the eastern pacific (not to mention uncountatable islands, cays and isolated rocks , we should have no problem finding fresh and surprising locations - for many years to come.
In some case, there simply may be no locations - as we we may be snorkeling / free diving in thousands of feet of water with no land for miles around. and our only neighbors - a pod of whales - or a school of dorado - or a solitary marlin. Wherever we are snorkeling / free diving, you can be sure of one thing - that you cannot be sure of what surprising sight or experience is around the next corner.
The kayaks we provide have been expressly chosen to serve as excellent tenders for snorkeling / free diving. This enables forays to any areas you choose without any sense of insecurity - thereby dramatically expanding the range of snorkeling / free diving options
At this time, scuba diving is not one of the activities we offer on our tours. However there are a number of excellent operations in Panama - and in the Gulf of Chiriqui area in particular - who offer scuba diving. Below are links to a few of them
